ENQUIRIES

A Greiner violin can take up to two years to make, whereby Peter works on several instruments in different stages at the same time. Due to high demand, there always has been a long waiting list for Stefan Peter Greiner’s instruments. Many factors, such as the time it takes for the varnish to dry cannot be determined in advance and because of this, the date of completion of a Greiner instrument is not easy to define.

For musicians, who want to plan more reliable, Peter offers a limited number of ordering contracts, in which the delivery date and the final price of the instrument is defined.

Other possibilities to get one of Greiner's instruments is to contact Susan Brunnert in Bonn or J&A Beare in London. They organise the ordering process and may have an instrument for sale.

Choosing the right instrument is one of the most important decisions. That’s why Peter entrusts the sales with his long time representative Susan Brunnert.

Susan has witnessed the birth of over 300 Greiner violins, violas and cellos.

Over the years she has spent countless one-on-one hours with musicians, listening to their goals and navigating them through their questions and selections.

Since 2013 Peter works closely together with the world renowned London company J&A Beare. Here he saw many of the most famous string instruments, and he had the chance to meet their players.

He studied many instruments, sometimes even during their restoration.

Having access to the glory of Italian violin making had a huge impact on Peter Greiner`s work over the years.
